Expanded Product Description
Electricity Information database contains comprehensive statistics on world electricity and heat production, supply and consumption. For each of the 30 OECD member countries the database also includes details on installed capacity, input energy mix to electricity and heat production, generation by autoproducers and electricity trades. Time series begin in 1960 for most OECD countries and 1971 for non-OECD countries. Data are available through 2007 and for OECD countries, preliminary 2008 data for supply are also provided. This service is updated in July each year.
